Your Guide to Putting on a Full Face of Makeup for Less Than $25

Aug 29, 2016

We are all on a budget – whether we are moms, college girls, or just plain tight on cash, we have to do our best to look our best for as cheap as possible. But when it comes to makeup, the good stuff – and I mean good stuff – is ridiculously overpriced. So I am here to give you ladies a full face of makeup for less than $25 to keep your bank account full and your face fierce.

Foundation

To start, we need a flawless foundation. I have a plethora of favorites, including Revlon Colorstay and Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation, but my best and cheapest option that gives you full coverage, a beautiful finish, and stays just as well, is the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation.

For only $4.99 at Target, you cannot find a better foundation for so insanely inexpensive. I adore this foundation; it is creamy, light, and gives you the perfect matte look we all know and love.

Concealer

The next step is concealer. Again, Maybelline wins out. The Maybelline Fit Me line is just perfection, including their concealer. This tiny, little bottle holds pure magic.

It can conceal dark circles, zits, scars, anything. You can even grab a few shades and use them as creamy highlights and contours. For less than five dollars this is not only your prime option, but your most affordable. Now onto the nitty gritty, eyes, brows, the works.

Brows

The brows come first, of course. Perfect, on fleek brows are all the rage, so having the perfect product is key. I cannot recommend the Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo enough. I could rave about this product for hours and still not be done. You can find it online for as cheap as a little over $5, which is absolutely incomprehensible for a good brow product.

But, dreams do come true, girls. This product is not only a creamy brow pencil, but it has powder at the other end of the stick to set your brows. Everyone around you will have brow envy. But if you want an even cheaper option for your brows, the Elf Eyebrow Kit is fantastic. For only $3 – yes, you read that right – you can have your brows filled in and on fleek.

Eyeshadow

If you know your makeup, you know the Urban Decay Naked palettes are the best you can get. But who wants to pay over fifty dollars for an eyeshadow palette? Not me. So, the answer is obvious, a dupe.

One of the best dupe I have found is the Lovatics NYC Eyeshadow Kit by Demi Lovato. The shades are almost identical, the pigmentation is ridiculous, and in some ways, it is actually better than the Naked palette. So go out and spend the extra $5 at Walmart and thank me later.

Mascara

We cannot leave the house without mascara, ladies. Maybelline is dominating once again, although I do love the Rimmel Wonderlash Lift Me Up Mascara, if you want to spend a little more cash. But if not, the Maybelline Volum’ Express Rocket Mascara is your new bestie.

It is not only volumizing, but it does not clump, smudge, or anything of the sort. You just swipe and go with this mascara. Now, if you feel like spending a little extra for some more glam, here are some options for your lips to get a full face makeup for less than $25.

Lips

Matte lips are also all the rage right now, and for good reason. They look amazing. One of the best drugstore matte lipsticks that do not dry your lips, crack, or flake, are the Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks. They come in the most amazing colors, and they are mind-blowingly pigmented, and so, so creamy. You will fall in love after the first swipe of it, and they are each only for $7.

So that is everything you need for your drugstore dream team. Now go on a mini-binge and buy yourself a full face of makeup for just one crisp, green Andrew Jackson (or a little more if you want to spoil yourself).
