9 Hot Cocoa Mixes to Mix Up for a Quick and Cute Gift

It is the time of year for giving gifts and while you can always buy your coworker or friend another Yankee candle, I like the idea of doing something a bit more creative. One of my favorite gifts to put together is hot cocoa mix. You can put it in a mason jar and tie a pretty ribbon around it or you can even put it in a clear ornament for a festive look.

I have found nine hot cocoa mix recipes for you to try that are simple to whip together and surprise someone with. Plus, they will not break the bank. All you have to do is gather the ingredients and layer them in your container of choice.

You can do it in any order that you would like, but it is usually prettier to mix colors and textures for visual appeal. One last tip: use a funnel to add ingredients. It will save you from having to clean up a mess and you can better control where the ingredients go in your jar or ornament.
