9 Signs He Is Not the Right Man for You

Jan 3, 2020

If you’re dating, you’re most likely trying to find someone you really like who will make a good life partner. It’s easy to ignore little things that happen, but it’s not smart to ignore them. We all have our faults, but some faults are too big to let go. Here are a few sure signs he is not the right man for you.

1 He can’t accept the fact that you have a past

Every person has a past. If your boyfriend is upset about the fact that you’ve had other boyfriends, he might not be the right guy for you. The last thing you want is to feel guilty about the fact that you had a life before him. Your past shouldn’t be something that your boyfriend questions you about or uses against you. If he does, it’s time to kick him to the curb.

2 He’s selfish in bed

If the man you’re dating is selfish in bed, it’s something you need to deal with right away. He should be just as concerned about your pleasure as he is about his own. If you let him get away with being selfish, nothing will easily change.

3 He gets mad when you show emotion

It’s understood that men don’t like it when women cry. It makes them uncomfortable, and they don’t know how to make women feel better. That’s nothing compared to certain men who actually get angry when a woman cries or gets upset.

If your boyfriend gets mad at you for being anything other than happy, you are not dating the right man. We all have feelings and emotions that we need to freely express. If you stay with a man like this for too long, you may begin to hold your emotions in, and that’s not good for you.

4 He’s vulgar and crude

Some people say that being vulgar in public is unacceptable, but it’s also unacceptable in private. If your boyfriend is rude and inappropriate with you in private, this is cause for concern, especially if you’ve expressed your concerns and he still won’t stop.

If he can control himself out in public, he can do so when he’s with you in private as well. If he chooses not to control himself, you may want to cut your losses and get out of the relationship. He should want to be his best self around you.

5 He’s always judging you

You know, you should love yourself, but it’s impossible to respect yourself at least when your partner never stops judging and criticizing you. Every day he reminds you how a horrible person you are and how many flaws you have.

Moreover, he never forgets your mistakes and blames you for everything you did wrong. You end up feeling like it’s all your fault and you are the most miserable person in the world. Stop it. You are beautiful, smart and awesome. He’s simply not the right man for you.

6 You’re not his priority

Do you feel like you are not his priority? Does he spend lots of time with his friends without letting you know about it? Do his career and financial goals seem more important to him than you? When you and your partner spend your time with friends, do you feel like you don’t belong? It seems he’s hanging out with his friends alone and you are not his girlfriend.

7 He isn’t showing any emotion

It’s obvious yet most women refuse to realize that their partners don’t have any real emotions. If you’ve been together for several months or years and he shows no emotion, how long are you going to wait for it? If he is in love with you, he will certainly let you know about it. Saving a relationship that has no future is just a waste of time and effort. Think about it.

8 He lies

Has he lied about where he is going, where he has been, and who has been spending time with? Every time you ask him something, he spends a minute (or two) inventing a new lie and he never remembers what he said yesterday (or an hour ago). Little white lies are okay, but serious lies are a reason to break up with him.

9 He doesn’t want to talk about future

No matter how long you two have been together, couples should always discuss the future. Maybe it’s early to talk about kids, but you should definitely have a talk about some future events. Be it a next vacation, a road trip or a wedding, there’s always something to discuss with your partner. If he avoids talking about future, he is not the right man for you.
