7 Signs Your Man Is a Miser

Oct 20, 2016

Men complain that modern women are becoming more and more materialistic. They say women are dangerous and cunning creatures ready to sell their souls and deal double with men for the sake of profit and financial prosperity.

Sometimes it seems that men exaggerate the situation because this perfect strategy helps them justify their greediness and get away with it. Before you tie the knot with your man, pay considerable attention to his inner world and analyze his actions, trying to understand whether he is a pathological miser or kind-hearted personality.

1 He claims money does not bring happiness

Many misers preach to their women that money has nothing in common with happiness. This way, they make an attempt to lower their ladies’ sights and impose their concept of happiness.

While money is not happiness, it is the key that can open almost all doors of this challenging world, provide a comfortable life and help you feel more secure. If your man has an absolutely another vision of the world, then it is better not to waste your valuable time trying to prove otherwise.

2 Leaving tips is not his thing

This type of men never throws money around, but wholeheartedly believes that a penny saved is a penny earned. If you have noticed that your loved one never leaves tips at the restaurants or cafes, it is a bad sign.

This attitude is not addressed to you, but these small acts of greediness give you an opportunity to understand the true nature of your man. If he is too cheap to leave at least a tiny tip, then do not expect anything good from him.

3 He prefers to split the bill when eating out

If your man has at least once offered to split the bill when eating with you, it means that he is either a pathological miser or a person who follows gender equality.

In the first case, it is better to break up with him and turn over a new leaf. If he is a passionate supporter of gender equality and you want to give him a second chance, ask him about children. Those men, who support gender equality, but refuse to take an active role in parenting and household are misers and liars.

4 He does not invite you to have a cup of coffee in a cafe

Misers are always looking for alternatives because skimping is their thing. They do not eat out because they find it too expensive and illogical. They have trouble understanding that sometimes it is necessary to deviate from a financial routine and shake things up at least a bit.

Today almost everyone, except beggars, can afford to have a cup of coffee in a cafe. If he is not a beggar, then he is an unbelievably greedy person you should stay away from because greed is an incurable disease.

5 He always pays visits empty-handed

Almost all ladies do not like men who appear empty-handed on a regular basis. When you invite him to dinner, you expect your man to come with flowers or a bottle of good wine.

A miser will never fulfill your expectations or present you with a nice surprise, because all pleasant things cost money. If the same attitude takes place in your relationship, you should not behave as if everything is okay. Otherwise, it will turn into a habit, and you will suffer from the greed of your loved one forever.

6 He saves money by using your resources

Misers often do not realize that their wives help them save a lot of money juggling various household affairs for the sake of home comfort and family happiness. I don’t mean that men should pay a salary to their women.

They just should treat them with respect and understand that their ladies carry a heavy burden of exhausting duties and responsibilities. Men should either provide their women with modern household equipment or help them in the household, instead of saying that women have big appetites.

7 He often demands a financial report

No matter whether you work or you are a stay-at-home mom, you have the right to spend your money without reporting. The only thing you should do is to make purchase decisions together. But you should do it only when you are planning to buy something important and expensive.

When your man requires a financial report, you should draw the necessary conclusions, stick to your guns and let him know that you are not a subordinate and he is not a boss.

If you are not married yet, and you have not already discovered the true nature of your man, these tips might help you with it. What other signs of a miser do you know?
