3 Simple tea tree oil recipes

  1. General household cleaner: You can find many recipes on homemade house cleaners using tea tree oil, but I use 25-30 drops of oil with 1 cup vinegar and 15 drops of Dawn dish soap. I then fill the bottle with water in a sprayer that you can buy at the store. It works great for all cleaning.
  2. Laundry booster: Just add a couple of drops to your load as you wash. You can also use a couple of drops on wool dryer balls in the dryer.
  3. Homemade mouthwash: Remember to not swallow tea tree oil as it can have very serious side effects. Mix purified water with a drop of oil and swish it around in your mouth. Rinse thoroughly.
