8 Ways to Boost Your Water Intake This Fall

Water is essential for the body, and it’s important to provide your body with enough water each day. However, drinking enough water daily is not always easy. Since I can’t drink even three glasses of plain water every day, I’m always on the lookout for new and tasty ways to boost my daily water intake. I try to add new ingredients to my water, and this helps me to stay hydrated and energized throughout a day.

Many of us think that milk, juice or soda can keep us hydrated as well. But it’s actually untrue. I do agree that milk is a healthy drink, but juice and soda are loaded with empty calories and sugar, along with other fillers and chemicals that are harmful to your health.

During the fall and winter months, you might not feel like drinking a lot of water because of the cold weather, but it’s as crucial to drink up during the fall season as it’s during the summer months. Not only does water improve your overall health, but it also helps to fight acne and keep your skin healthy. If you are looking to boost your water intake, here are a few drinks you may want to try right now.

1. Ginger Lemon Water

Some of my favorite ingredients to add to plain water are ginger and lemon. I’m a lemon water fan, but I also love ginger since it has anti-inflammatory properties, and it helps my digestion. Lemon water has fantastic health benefits. It helps detoxify the body, relieve a lot of digestion problems, boost your immune system, and much more.

In fall, I usually add a few slices of ginger and lemon to hot water and enjoy this majestic drink in the morning or the evening after a stressful day. If you want a refreshing drink, then add a sliced up lemon and an inch of fresh and peeled ginger to a pitcher of cold, filtered water, and put it in the fridge for an hour. You’ll have a healthy, refreshing beverage that will help you boost your daily water intake.
