5 Unique Drinks for Ringing in the New Year

New Year, new drinks! Here are some unique drinks to try out when you are celebrating 2017 New Year’s Eve.

1 Creamsicle Fizz

Everyone’s favorite Popsicle can now be everyone’s favorite cocktail.


  • 1 oz. vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz. orange juice
  • 1/2 c. ice
  • Champagne
  • Prosecco
  • Sugar and 1 orange slice for garnish


Dip the rim of a champagne flute into the sugar. Fill your cocktail shaker with ice, vanilla vodka, and orange juice. Shake and then strain into the champagne flute. Top off with champagne and Prosecco. Garnish with a slice of orange.

2 Vanilla Coconut Bellini

Celebrate the warm and cool tones of winter with this special twist on a Bellini.


  • 1 bottle Prosecco
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 16 ounces coconut juice blend
  • 1/4 cup white sanding sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean


Scrape the seeds from the vanilla bean into a large bowl and combine with sanding sugar and granulated sugar. Dip the rims of your champagne flutes into a sticky edible substance like marshmallow fluff or frosting, then dip them into the sugar mixture. Pour 2 ounces of coconut juice into the champagne flute and fill the rest of the way with Prosecco. Stir before serving.

3 Cocktail Maison

Give your party a French flair by serving this brilliantly boozy drink.


  • Champagne
  • 1 oz. Campari
  • 1 oz. Cointreau
  • 1 oz. gin


Mix Campari, Cointreau, and gin together in a measuring cup. Pour a small quantity according to your taste into the bottom of two champagne flutes. Fill the remainder of the way with more champagne.

4 Resolution Martini

Here is a simple yet delicious and highly effective cocktail that is sure to make ringing in the New Year even more fun.


  • 3 ounces of gin
  • 1 ounce of apricot brandy
  • Ѕ ounce of fresh lemon juice
  • Ice


Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker and add ice. Shake well, then strain into martini glasses.

5 Raspberry Chocolate Kiss

New Year’s Eve is the time for love too. Do not forget about that midnight kiss. Get in the mood with this beautiful cocktail.


  • 1/4 cup simple syrup, plus more for rim
  • 3 finely crushed chocolate cookies
  • 10 raspberries
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 2 tablespoons cranberry juice
  • Ice


Pour enough simple syrup into a shallow dish to cover the bottom. In another shallow dish, add the crushed cookies. Dip the rim of a martini glass into the simple syrup and then immediately into the crushed cookies.

Add raspberries to cocktail shaker and muddle using a muddler. Add simple syrup and continue the muddling. Add vodka and cranberry juice, then fill shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into martini glass.
