5. Carrot Ginger Salad Dressing
In the cold season, a warming carrot ginger dressing is what you need for salads. With this spicy-tasting dressing with oriental notes, any salad will seem something new and unusual to you. This salad dressing goes great not only with salads but also with coleslaw, fish, shrimp, or poultry.
Ingredients:
- 1 chopped carrot, boiled until soft
- 1/4 cup of cooking water from boiled carrot
- 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of peeled and chopped ginger
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- salt, to taste
Directions:
Take the boiled carrot pieces and the reserved water and puree with the remaining ingredients in your blender. It will have a bit of a chunky texture but once everything is blended through, it is ready.
