4. Green Goddess

Green Goddess is a classic salad dressing of American cuisine, which was invented before the war. It turns out very satisfying, but it is light. This combination of ingredients makes the taste of the dressing incredibly tasty and refreshing. This salad dressing is excellent for vegetable salads, but many people like to use it also as a sauce for meat dishes.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup of sour cream
  • 1/4 cup of fresh chopped parsley
  • juice of 1/4 lemon
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons of chopped tarragon
  • 3 anchovies
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

Blend all ingredients except for the salt and pepper in your blender until it reaches a creamy and smooth texture. Then, season it with salt and pepper. The dressing can be stored in a tightly closed, airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
